About Laser Therapeutics
Therapeutics and its partner, Health and Beauty, are exciting companies
specializing only in light therapy devices and LTI was established in
1996 by dedicated medical professionals to research and implement the
latest in low powered, non-invasive laser therapy technology and to
develop effective laser treatment protocols for use with our cold
lasers. We are the exclusive U.S. company representing Omega Laser
Systems and other high quality Laser and LED manufacturers in addition
to designing, engineering and producing our own professional,
lipolasers and home-use low level lasers.
Laser Therapeutics is
constantly engaged in clinical trial investigation of laser therapy
(LLLT) on numerous conditions such as smoking cessation with laser,
LipoLaser inch Loss, Treating Provoked Vestibulodynia with low level
laser, treating wrinkles and fine lines and a number of other
conditions. We continuously develop additional protocols as part of
pretrial investigations. Two of our lasers, the Omega XP and the LED
Pain Device are FDA cleared for pain conditions. Please see our 510(k)
approvals for further details.
A low powered laser therapy
procedure does not cut or burn into the skin or affected
areas-it stimulates the cells and tissue and promotes healing by
penetrating deep into the tissues initializing the process of photo
biostimulation. The patient normally feels no discomfort related to the
laser treatment procedure. The light energy from the low level laser is
absorbed in cytochromes and porphyrins within cell mitochondria and
cell membranes. A small amount of Singlet Oxygen is produced as a
result of the absorption.
This is combined with a number
of other factors to produce the results demonstrated in many laser
therapy clinical study cases. Each case is different and the program
utilized varies with the severity on the condition. In many
instances, a review of the literature indicates that low level laser
therapy may be a viable alternative to surgery. If you are a medical
professional who has interest in LLLT, please contact us for
